I’m a freelance writer and former Spanish literature grad student wanting to waste time but not much money in jumping into the enormous tide pool that is the blogosphere. I’ve been cooking since I was coordinated enough to move a whisk in a bowl of eggs, even before I was tall enough to see over the top of the stove without a step-stool.
This blog is dedicated to simple recipes using easy-to-find ingredients. Each recipe is accompanied by a personal story, explaining why this particular food is important to me.
